The Aim of the Award
1 To acknowledge those local (Beijing) people who have contributed to the public advancement of the design profession (architecture & interior design) in
Beijing.
2 To help the larger public understand the importance of beautifying the built environment, and the special skills that designers contribute to this effort.
3 To make the public aware of the importance of designers by having a public awards ceremony that is published in the local media.
4 To build up recognition of dcb as a forum for designers to share information and discuss issues of importance to the design profession.

The Basic Requirement:
1 The Candidate shall not be a designer himself/herself, but has made great contributions to designers or the design field.
2 The Candidate must be nominated by at least one designer and will attend the Award Ceremony on Jan.30
3 The Candidate's CV and a brief introduction of his/her contributions shall be provided
4 Individual design companies can nominate more than one person to receive an award
