2004 Global Construction summit was held from Apr.14th to 16th in Beijing. It was organized by McGraw-Hill Construction and China International Contractors Association. It brings together domestic and foreign experts from government and non-government agencies and professionals from private and public sectors. Planners, architects, engineers, owners, contractors, manufacturers, software providers, insurance and legal professionals have come together to discuss key industry issues relating to China and to the global market.

The Exhibition of Building & City Facilities Design Resources is now held in A& D material center from Apr.20 to 28. It includes many award win projects of 2003 . The public buildings: 174 projects, the residential buildings: 64 projects, Road & Bridges: 60 projects, Piping system: 48 project, Gas & Heating system:48 project, Landscape & Garden:24 projects.

3 IFDA中国分会正式成立

国际室内装饰设计协会（IFDA）是一个世界性的装饰和设计联盟，成立于1947年，总部设在美国，中国分会首席代表及负责人是余勇先生。其宗旨是为其成员的提供专业发展机会,唤起公众互惠参与、合作交流、相互提高、共同发展的意识。IFDA目前正在与国际认证与注册协会（IARI）合作开展对中国室内设计师国际注册认证活动，并将与美国国家大学NATION UNIVERSITY（简称NU）合作开设室内设计、工程项目管理等专业学位课程。IFDA中国分会地址：北京朝阳区惠新西街18号罗马花园B1005室
IFDA Establishes China ChapterThe China chapter, organized in 1992 with 100 members under the leadership of Yu Yong. A contingent of its members visited the United States recently and met with the IFDA leadership, indicating their interest in reviving the relationship. The chapter is energized by China's new role in the world economy and stimulated by entry in the WTO and the up-coming 2008 Olympics as well as the developing living standards of the Chinese people. IFDA's Asian members currently represent a cross-section of professionals in industries related to the manufacture, distribution and promotion of China's home furnishings.

2 吉事多中国第三届卫浴空间设计大赛

由中国建筑装饰协会主办，吉事多卫浴有限公司共同协办的“吉事多中国第三届卫浴空间设计大赛”近日在全国范围内展开，大赛举办时间为2004年4月28日（新闻发布会）—2004年11月（颁奖典礼）, 　参赛对象为各装饰设计公司、建筑设计院、所、公司（含事物所、工作室等设计机构），环境、景观设计公司及设计类大中专院校师生员工和广大爱好从事卫浴空间设计的设计人员，同时欢迎港澳台地区人士积极参与.
