dcb has a permanent secretariat located in Beijing,P.R.China,and is represented by an consultant committee,who are specialists in their fields. The committee member is not remunerated for its dcb duties, however,membership fees are sufficient to maintain an administrative structure,including communication components such as the website, dcb newsletter and promotional material.

With the aid of commercial sponsorship the dcb will be able to add tremendous value to its services through the following means:

Develop printed and electronic publications as guidelines to developing focus areas.
Support the implementation of social responsibility strategies and projects.
Contribute to the funding of professional theme workshop and forums.
Fund individuals from developing Member Associations to attend workshop,etc.

The Criteria dcb Sponsors
dcb select a number of international credible companies named the dcb supporters.
dcb supporters maintain a close collegial friendship with the international community of Interior Architects/Designers.
The companies who will be selected by dcb must fulfil certain criteria:
Being serious in their business and business philosophy.
Be able to show they are working with products that are not harmful to man or the environment during production, use, reuse or destruction.
Working seriously to maintain good design standards for their products, by using professional designers in their product development.

What does the sponsor get from this?
1 Six times host oppotunities of dcb monthly forums (1st class sponsor only, 2 times hos toppotunities of dcb monthly forums for Second class annual sponsors);
2. The opportunity to show samples of their products，to give 10 minutes presentation during the forums & other dcb events.(1st class sponsor only);
3 3 free annual tickets for the forum(total price 365 US$) for the design forum(1st class sponsor only);
4 Access to our membership through monthly meetings,international forums and workshops and study tour etc.;
5 Regulated use of the dcb sponsor Logotype, on promotional and all of dcb's published and electronic mediaand web site.

What is the cost for this Basic involvement?
The amount is the same for all companies.
Annually 4000 US$ for First Class Sponsor,and 1800 US$ for second Class Sponsor.
An invoice called marketing fee will be sent to you.
The invoice will, after the first year, be sent annually in the beginning of the year.
If a company wants to reverse their marketing budget or of any other reason wants to leave they could just mail us about this in December each year.

How to apply?
There are two ways
1 The secretariat survey on companies that we believe fulfil dcb criteria. We contact them asking to send their annual report and/or other information available about the company.The company also fills in a pre printed application form. dcb will make its final decision and invite new sponsoring member to share the benefits set out in the agreement.The applicant pays the first annual fee and will be recorded as a dcb sponsor.
2 Any company can, without having been pre-invited contact the secretariat for an application form. When completed with all information this form is sent to the secretary who takes the decision of Inviting or Rejecting.

Special Sponsors
Sponsors for special projects or events will be customised for different kind of events. Our friends of dcb will always firstly being asked when there are special projects coming up like world congresses,special workshops,social design project etc.The sponsorship fee will be negotiate according to the detail arrangement.
